Privacy
How Wallet Rewards handles information about shop owners, their staff and their customers.
Shop owners and staff
When you create an account we keep your name, email, business name and address, a scrambled copy of your password and staff PINs, your card design and your billing status. We use these to run your account and loyalty card, to send you service emails, and to take payment after your free trial. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
Your customers
For each loyalty card we keep the card code, stamps and rewards (with date, time and staff member) and any details the customer chose to give when joining. The shop is the data controller for its customers; Wallet Rewards processes those details only on the shop's behalf, to run the card. Each card links to the shop's own privacy notice.
Wallet apps
Cards added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet are stored by those services on the customer's phone so they can update. We never see anyone's Apple or Google account.
Website demos
Demo cards made on our website last one hour and can't collect real rewards. If you save a design without an account we keep it, with a browser cookie, so you can carry on later.
Cookies on this website
We use a few essential cookies to keep you logged in, remember a design you're working on and protect forms – the site can't work without them. If we use Google Analytics to see which pages help shop owners, it only runs after you tap Accept on our cookie notice; until then no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of our pages. Customers' card pages and the till never use analytics.
Where and how long
Data is stored with our hosting provider in the EU (Frankfurt). We keep account data while your account is open and delete it on request when you close it, except where we must keep billing records by law.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Contact us through your dashboard or by replying to any email from us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
